BIOGRAPHY

 

The Coronets

First they where called the Lively Set but changed their name to The Coronets, to fit their new frontman Chris Sandford from Coronation street. Until he went into the A & R field and became their manager. They made several records with him, the most successful was ' not too little'. 'don't call my name' was released on 2. july 1965. (lower picture Eric Dillon - Drummer  ( 15, still at school) Terry New - lead Guitar, Norman Hale - Keyboard and vocals, Tony Cartwright - rythm Guitar and Songwriter,  Jim Kent - Base Guitar.)
