BIOGRAPHY

Free

Norman was a session piano player, for Island Records. The producer Guy Stevens got him to join Free in the studio for their first two albums. 'Tons of sobs', in which the first track was called 'Broad Daylight'. After spending the whole night boozing and waiting for inspiration, Paul Rodgers took Norman outside, just for a breath of fresh air, to find it to be broad daylight. It then took them about half a day to write the rest of the album.

the seccond album was called 'Free Live'.

Norman could have joined the band but for some strange reason, he declined.
